Monash University is closely monitoring the global health emergency of COVID-19: we have implemented our pandemic plan and we are continuing to work closely with and follow the advice of Australian health authorities and the World Health Organisation.

In the interest of safeguarding the health and safety of our entire community, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone some of our courses.

Our Education team has been working hard over the last few weeks to prepare and deliver high-quality, impact-focused online learning to students. In the case where programs cannot be fully replicated online, such as MSDI ppl, Climate Change and Business Risk, and Green Steps , these programs will be postponed to a date later in the year.

Accredited education

All accredited units in Semester 1 are going ahead and have been moved to online delivery in line with Monash University policy. This includes all Masters of Environment and Sustainability units and Sustainable Business and Innovation (BEX5810).

Other programs

Our Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) programs have been postponed:

  • Public Purpose Leadership (ppl) program until further notice. We will publish any updates as soon as there is some clarity. You are still able to register your interest in MSDI ppl on our website.

  • Climate Change and Business Risk – the June 2020 course in Sydney has been postponed (date TBC). The November 2020 course in Melbourne will run as originally scheduled.

Our extra-curricular programs will also be postponed:

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience these changes to arrangements may have caused you and hope to be in contact with rescheduled dates at a later time.
